He’s taken a couple of days off, so I get a lie in. Bliss. Apparently the girl has scored top in her class for her SATs. She’s six and she’s taken a test for eight year olds. Beams with pride (it’s probably hereditary). Her father and I were both able to read at three.

It was an unusual Monday, I actually had another female in the house with me. Wonders will never cease.
